In this role, you'll oversee and support all clinical and service programs in the assigned departments including Labor and Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum, Well Baby Nursery and NICU. This role works closely with the dedicated Nursing Professional Development Specialist for the assigned clinical department to support the mission and vision of the institution, ensure strategic direction of the department and overall program, and facilitate quality, patient and family-centered care, outcomes including patient satisfaction of our members. The Director provides leadership within and across departments and organizations to assure the development of effective and efficient systems and operations. Is accountable for managing human, fiscal and other resources needed to ensure optimal support staffing and positive patient outcomes within the departments. MINIMIUM QUALIFICATIONS: Registered Nurse RN License in state of CT A Bachelor's degree required (BSN); a Master's degree in health care administration or business administration preferred. 3- 5 years Director experience in Women's Services and/or Labor and Delivery. Advanced skills and training in financial analysis, budgeting, planning, physician practice operations, and relevant computer applications.
