Certification Details BLS and ACLS required Number of Beds – 4 Endoscopy Procedure Rooms Job Details Unit: Endoscopy Patient Ratios: approx 20-30 patients through the department each weekday EMR: Meditech Responsibilities include training all RNs to admit patients, circulate and scrub in procedural cases, recover and discharge patients. Job Requirements 2 years of RN experience PACU or ICU experience preferred, but not required. Schedule Information Number of Staff: approx 25 Day Shift – Primarily RNs, with scrub tech and scope room techs Night Shift – on call only Week day and weekend call required for all staff, including PRN Unit Specific Information Type of equipment: Olympus scopes, Provation procedural documentation List typical procedures performed on unit(s): EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy
