Job Title: GI Lab Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Gastroenterology/Endoscopy Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: Full-Time Schedule Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the specialty License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Two years of experience within the specialty, ACLS, and BLS certifications. Job Description: - Provide nursing care in the Endoscopy Lab, supporting endoscopic procedures for Gastroenterology and Pulmonology service lines. - Assist in procedures including, but not limited to, colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, EUS, and bronchoscopies. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and procedural outcomes. - Follow safety and infection control guidelines during procedures. - Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Participate in holiday coverage by working two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
