Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Services - ER Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period Experience: Minimum 2 years required, first-timers not accepted License: Valid CA License required Certifications: NIHSS Must-Have: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting Job Description: - Provide care in an acute care hospital setting with 42 total staffed beds. - Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4. - Must be willing to work every other weekend. - Open to floating between like units and potentially to affiliate hospitals nearby. - Ability to accommodate block schedule is per manager discretion. - Must agree to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. - Completion of modules is required pre-start, annually, and time spent is non-billable. - Required orientation consists of 40 hours, non-billable. - Specific charting experience with Epic is required. - The facility does not require a COVID-19 vaccine, but flu vaccine status is unknown. - Travelers must include any requested time off (RTO) at time of submission.
