**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Emergency Room **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Variable 12-hour shifts (including evenings, nights, and weekends) **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** 2 years required **License:** Valid Wisconsin License **Certifications:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) *Certifications must be American Heart Association (AHA) except NIHSS.* **Must-Have:** - Experience in triage, trauma, codes, cardiac arrest, stroke - Ability to handle any level of patient acuity **Job Description:** - 13-week assignment with a focus on emergency room nursing. - Work variable shifts primarily starting from 3:00 PM or later. - Engage in emergency care tasks such as triaging, managing trauma patients, and responding to codes. - Be flexible with shifting schedules; shifts are mostly evening or night. - Shifts may avoid early starts as the week progresses, with consideration for rest between longer shifts. - Weekend work is required; no on-call duty. - No requests for time off during the assignment. - Floating within the hospital is expected when necessary. - Flu vaccine is mandatory, with exceptions only for medical or religious reasons. - Must complete and log training modules during orientation hours. - Prior experience with Cerner is preferred. - Candidates are expected to quickly comply with lab and documentation requirements. *Note: Proof of compliance and documentation initiation is essential shortly after assignment acceptance.*
