**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Emergency Department **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Mid - 3x12 - 15:00 - 03:30 **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 Hours **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience; previous experience at a Trauma Level 2 facility **License:** Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, PALS (ENPC accepted in place of TNCC) **Must-Have:** Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans; effective communication skills **Job Description:** - Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. - Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. - Provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family. - Effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. - Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure the implementation of solutions. - Perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Preferred: Experience with Cerner EMR; Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
