**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Emergency Room Nurse **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not Provided **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department **License:** Current RN License in New Hampshire **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, PALS **Must-Have:** Successful completion of an accredited RN program **Job Description:** - Assist in planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care within the scope of practice. - Utilize knowledge and skills to provide appropriate patient care. - Assess data reflective of patients' status to identify age-specific needs. - Provide quality care consistent with departmental policies and procedures. - Demonstrate performance aligned with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and organization. - Resolve patient care and departmental situations within scope of responsibility; refer issues beyond that scope to appropriate individuals. - Assist with data collection in research studies conducted within the work area. - Provide trauma care to patients of all ages in a Level IV Trauma Center. - Demonstrate the ability to resuscitate and stabilize patients with traumatic injuries. - Maintain flexibility and composure under pressure; balance compassion with self-care. - De-escalate difficult situations using verbal and nonverbal techniques. - Work effectively as a team member, recognizing the roles and responsibilities of team members. - Collaborate effectively with internal and external team members, including first responders. - Ensure seamless communication during the transfer of care.
