**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Critical Care **Job Duration:** 14 weeks **Shift:** 11.5-hour rotating shifts (07:00-19:00 AM-PM or 19:00-07:00 PM-AM) **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Required experience in Critical Care **License:** Registered Nurse License **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS **Must-Have:** - Advanced hemodynamic monitoring experience - ICP Monitoring (experience with both surgical and non-surgical patients) - Ventilated patients management - Proficiency with pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications - Experience assisting with line insertion and maintenance - Familiarity with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients - Experience with ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and external ventricular drains (EVD) - PA lines and waveform interpretation **Job Description:** - Provide critical care nursing in a Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCCU) - Float to Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and other critical care units as needed - Manage care for critical conditions such as stroke, neuro-surgery, meningitis, encephalitis, and neuro-muscular disorders - Handle patients with surgical, trauma, neuro, plastics, multiple organ failure, and sepsis conditions in the SICU - Participate in maintaining a Primary Stroke Center environment with expertise in thrombectomy, TPA, hemorrhagic ventriculostomies, and emergent evacuation - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the highest level of patient care
