**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Cardiac Support Unit - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day - 3x12-hour shifts, 7am - 7pm, Varied start between 5am-9:30am **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of ICU or PACU experience required **License:** Required for submission **Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS **Must-Have:** ICU or PACU experience **Job Description:** - Provide specialized nursing care in the cardiac support ICU. - Assist in pre and post-care for patients undergoing heart catheterization, EP, and IR procedures, including TAVR. - Work with a patient-nurse ratio of 3:1, ensuring high-quality care. - Participate in facility-wide orientation and complete required modules before starting. - Utilize the Cerner EMR system for documentation. - Perform procedural sedation as part of patient care. - Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and cardiologists for comprehensive patient management. - Partake in a floor-specific orientation to ensure successful integration into the team. - Maintain excellent communication with charge nurses and adhere to unit protocols. - No weekend, holiday, or call requirements, with a flexible start time policy. - Ensure all procedural requirements are met and handle patient drips, including Heparin and Amniodarone.
