Cannot accommodate block schedule
Required to treat adult and pediatric population
2 years Experience Preferred
Travel Experience Preferred
EMR: MEDITECH (experience not required)
COVID: Yes, possible
Scrubs: Navy
Patient Ratio: 6 bed ICU; no more than 3:1, but it varies. Patient population: all ages - can be Peds or Adult
1 month to 18 years. However, peds patients are rare.
Peds dx include but not limited to:
- Gastroenteritis requiring IV fluids / IV Abx
- Simple surgery – eg appy
- Simple diabetic imbalance
- Respiratory related dx
The following would be transferred out:
- Fever of unknown etiology
- Seizures
- DKA
Job Requirements

Required Certs: CPR, ACLS, PALS (must be in hand)
Required to be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of NC
