Travel Nurse Rn - Icu - Intensive Care Unit - $2,649 Per Week

Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Details A hospital in California is looking for an experienced ICU RN for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience. Job Requirements The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, and CA license. Schedule Information 12 hr shifts, schedules made out about 6 weeks in advance every other weekend requirement Unit Specific Information Unit: ICU Ratios: 1 to 1-2, 90% of the time will be 1 to 2 ratio Additional Details Telemetry, L/D, Emergency and Critical Care RN's will take a proctored Dysrhythmia Test onsite, day one. This is a PASS/FAIL test! MUST have experience with ICP monitoring and ventrics HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE CONSIDERED, HOWEVER IT CANNOT BE GUARANTEED Floor specific orientation: 1 day on unit Common diagnosis / Types of patients: trauma - travelers must have this experience, neuro-strokes, head injuries, ventriculostomies, ICP monitoring Additional Notes: candidates must have 2-3 yrs in specialty, previous travel experience preferred, must know ahead of time they will work very hard on this unit, must be open to asking questions or asking for help if needed, unit is fast-paced, must be able to get along well with others, hospital has a very robust interventional radiology program, traveler friendly
