We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Acute Medical and Progressive Care unit (D6/5). Specialty populations cared for on the unit include patients with a diagnosis of Cystic Fibrosis (CF), pulmonary hypertension (PH), and post lung transplant. Job Requirements IMC experience required. ICU experience considered, must be willing to work with non-ICU patients. Transplant and trach experience required. Two years of acute care experience within last 3 years. Experience in an Academic Level 1 or 2 - Trauma center or similar size hospital. Unit Specific Information Nurses on D6/5 get a chance to work within the #1 lung transplant program in the nation. Nurses on this 29-bed unit are skilled in providing comprehensive and specialized nursing care to the acutely ill adult patient. Additional Details Travelers are the first to float. Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs.
