Preferred: AWHONN EFM (intermediate, or advanced), STABLE, ACLS. **Must-Have:** - Experience in triage, labor and delivery, recovery, postpartum, newborn stabilization, and newborn care. - Ability to titrate drips. Common drips include Pitocin, Magnesium, insulin, and TXA. **Job Description:** - Oversee and provide care for patients in labor and delivery, including triage, recovery, and postpartum care. - Utilize skills in newborn stabilization and care for term and late preterm newborns. - Perform duties according to AWHONN guidelines for nurse-to-patient ratios. - Read and document GE EFM System strips using Obix software. - Work collaboratively with nursing aids and communicate effectively with the on-call team, including OB/Neonatologists, Peds, CNMs, and Anesthesia. - Utilize RT equipment such as Neopuff and CPAP as needed. - Demonstrate capability to manage common diagnoses such as term labor, gestational hypertension, gestational diabetes, induction of labor, and SROM. - Prefer candidates with charge experience, though it is not required. - Provide stabilization and necessary care for newborns aged 35 weeks and above, while transferring those under 35 weeks as needed. - Engage in continuous professional development, embracing opportunities to enhance skills in newborn and maternal care.
