**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Labor & Delivery (L&D) **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 19:00-07:00 **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum 1 year; 2+ years of hospital experience preferred **License:** Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted) **Certifications:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring **Must-Have:** - Ability to care for high-risk antepartum, labor, and recovery patients - Competency in checking cervix **Job Description:** - Work in a 19-bed high-risk Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) unit - Maintain patient ratios in line with ACOG/AWHONN guidelines (1:1 and 1:2) - Utilize equipment such as Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) - Document patient care using Meditech/CPN systems - Participate in modified self-scheduling, including weekend call requirements - Float to antepartum as needed - Perform procedures such as IVs and cervix checks - Hospital provides scrubs; adhere to a professional dress code, including restrictions on artificial nails, piercings, and visible tattoos - Ensure hair is neat and shoulder-length hair is pulled back when necessary
