Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM Guaranteed Hours: N/A Experience: Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service License: Registered Nurse Texas License Certifications: - BLS Provider Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - Neonatal Resuscitation Certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) - Advanced Life Support from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification Must-Have: - Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school or college of nursing Job Description: - Provide nursing care in a Level IV Maternal Designation facility - Work in a fast-paced, high-risk delivery service managing over 500 deliveries per month - Collaborate with an in-house team including Attending OBs, anesthesia, and NICU coverage - Support and participate in the Perinatal Transport Program - Engage with both academic teaching services and large private OB practices - Aid in the care and monitoring of patients in 20 LDR suites, 4 C-section suites, 10 triage rooms, 51 mother-baby couplet rooms, and 14 monitored antepartum units - Prepare for unit expansion to a new Women's Tower in late 2025 Preferred: - 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service - S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification
