**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Labor & Delivery (L&D) **Job Duration:** 12 Weeks **Shift:** 19:00-07:00 **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 Weekly **Experience:** Minimum 2 Years of Labor Experience Required **License:** Registered Nurse License **Certifications:** Intermediate Fetal Monitoring **Must-Have:** Cerner Experience **Job Description:** - Participate in the orientation program which takes place bi-weekly. - Provide care in a multifunctional facility, housing various specialized centers including a Brain, Cancer, Heart, and Women's Center. - Handle responsibilities in an environment with a 355-bed capacity and specialized units, including a Level 3 NICU and a 32-bed Emergency Department. - Work primarily within an 8-bed Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit, ensuring adherence to the AWHONN standards for patient ratios. - Potentially float between units as needed to provide support as helping hands - Manage GYN patients in addition to labor and delivery patients. - Embody an easy-going, committed, and positive demeanor to foster a collaborative team environment. - Dress code: Navy for C-sections supplied by the hospital, with no unacceptable attire specified. - Adhere to standard patient care protocols, including fetal monitoring and patient observation, using Cerner EHR systems.
