Job Title: Maternal Child Health (MCH) Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery - Critical Need Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years in Labor and Delivery License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program - ACLS Must-Have: Winter Plan Need Job Description: - Provide exceptional nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit for expectant mothers and newborns. - Perform assessments and interventions for patients experiencing childbirth, including managing emergencies. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a safe and supportive birthing experience. - Utilize advanced skills to stabilize and manage high-risk obstetrical patients. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. - Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process. - Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards. - Participate in continuous education and training to stay up-to-date with best practices and protocols.
