**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Labor and Delivery **Job Duration:** 12 weeks **Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years; first-timers accepted **License:** GA or Compact license required **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, NRP **Must-Have:** Availability to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract for an on-time start **Job Description:** - Provide nursing care to women in labor and delivery - Circulate in C-Sections - Able to handle a patient population consisting of adults - Work with a patient ratio of 1:2 in a facility with 12 rooms and an average daily census of 5 - Utilize Pyxis, Epic, and SBAR systems in daily tasks - Follow the facility's policies on call-outs and rotational scheduling, allowing only three call-outs in a 13-week period - Be open to floating within the facility as needed - Willingness to work every other weekend - RTO is capped at 7 days, with specific restrictions during peak holiday periods - Contribute to a team-oriented environment by collaborating with staff for optimal patient care - Meet compliance requirements for a timely start in line with the bi-weekly orientation schedule **Additional Information:** - Orientation includes 13 hours - Compliance with major holiday work expectations as outlined - Attend to a varied schedule and adhere to the facility's guidelines regarding schedule preferences and mandatory work days during the holiday season
