TBD Locals Accepted: No Pending License Accepted: Yes but w/o an AK license they have to be booked 10-12 weeks out RTO Restrictions: We do not have any specific requirements around Holidays, however if the traveler is here for more than one recognized holiday we would ask them to work one of the holidays. Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: CVA, Dementia, RA, Afib, Hip fx, Parkinsons, BKA, PNA, COPD, BKA, Hunntington's dx Common Equipment: Hoyer lift, SARA lift, tube feeding pump, IV pump Additional Details: This is an LTC unit; however, since it is the only LTC/Nursing Home in the PeaceHealth system, it functions more like an LTAC or step-down unit to MedSurg. We do not take trach patients, acute rehab, TPN, Bi-PAP, etc. We use a Pyxis medication system to load our Work Stations on Wheels. We DO NOT USE MedPacks which is what a lot of the LTC's down south utilize, our Medpass process is a hybrid between a LTC /MedSurg process. Epic was designed as an acute care EMR and has been modified to accommodate LTC; however, the modifications make the charting labor-intensive.
