Certification Details ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support: AHA or ARC accepted, specific requirements depending on the specialty BLS - Basic Life Support: AHA or ARC accepted PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required for specific RN specialties EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring: Online course required after hire Tech Cert Verification - National: Allied annual license verification needed State License Verification required for CRTs & RRTs in Georgia NURSYS Verification for RN, LPN/LVN, AP NIH Stroke Certification may be required for certain specialties Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required for RNs Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam for specific nursing areas Job Details 2 year minimum experience Unit accepts first time travelers Patient population: Infants to Geriatrics Ratio: 1:5-6 Unit systems: Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR Schedule Information Schedule Requirements: RTO: MAX 7 days, Blocked Scheduling Not Guaranteed Holidays: Expected to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period Weekends: Every Other - 4 shifts/month or hospital needs Floating: Yes - based on needs of the hospital, may entail floating to CNA/tech role Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time Additional Details Photo ID Required Additional certifications may be required depending on the specialty Floating policies may apply depending on hospital needs Full compliance with hospital requirements needed for a timely start Orientation schedule is bi-weekly
