Travel Nurse Rn - Med Surg - $2,068 Per Week

Certification Details BLS State Licensure Job Details A hospital in Southern Idaho is in need of a Med-Surg RN to start ASAP! The nurse will need to have a minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg/Tele experience. The shifts are 12 hour shifts. Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg/Tele experience. Experience with EPIC is helpful. Not required to titrate drips. Schedule Information 12 hours, 7-7. Try to accommodate special requests or needs. Block scheduling allowed but cannot schedule more than 5 days in a row. Every other weekend or 3 in a 6 week schedule. Holiday requirement as needed. Unit Specific Information # of Beds: 26 with a 4 bed overflow area. Charge Nurse only takes a one-patient assignment in times of high census. Travel nurses not required to read telemetry strips. Navy Blue scrub color/dress code. Orientation: 2 shifts provided, with possible extension. Additional Details Department: MedSurg Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:4-5 based on acuity. Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Sepsis, respiratory failure, chest pain, pneumonia, CKD, CHF, behavioral patients, dementia, postop surgical overflow. Charge Nurse and Team Lead support. Nurse aides/CNAs present. Respiratory Therapy (RT) equipment supported by an RT department. Centralized telemetry team present.
