NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Evansville, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/16/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Required Certs to be attached upon submittal: Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS. Minimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong Med/Surg, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience. Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class) Patient Population: Med/Surg. population - post-surgical, UTI, sepsis, high fall risk, COPD, CHF Skillset: Remote tele, chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, straight cath/Foleys, ostomies, Heparin drips, blood/blood product administration, tracheostomy are, PCA management.
