**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Medical Surgical **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** 3+ years required **License:** Must have state or compact license **Certifications:** BCLS **Must-Have:** - Medical/Surgical experience - Proficiency in starting IVs, nasal cannula - Experience with Cerner electronic health records **Job Description:** - Charge nurse responsibilities may be required based on operational needs, with training and resources provided. - Weekly requirement includes working every other weekend. - Responsibilities may include floating within the hospital or nearby affiliate hospitals. - Orientation provided includes 12 hours of training. - Patient care will focus on medical surgical conditions, including cases such as COVID, abdominal pain, respiratory distress, and other symptoms requiring further observation. - Interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, along with previous charge experience, are preferred. - A COVID vaccine is required for travelers, with medical or religious exemptions accepted with appropriate documentation. - Compliance with flu vaccine requirements, with only medical or religious exemptions considered. Candidates must be prepared to work two out of three major holidays and demonstrate flexibility with the floating requirement.
