**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Medical Surgical/Oncology **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM **Guaranteed Hours:** 12 hours per shift **Experience:** Minimum of 2+ years of current Medical Surgical experience required; Oncology Care and End of Life Care experience highly preferred **License:** Current New York RN License **Certifications:** BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) **Must-Have:** - EPIC Experience - Ability to float to other units as needed - Peritoneal Dialysis training preferred - Traveler must have their own vehicle - Must be willing to work every other weekend and holidays if needed **Job Description:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care in a Medical Surgical/Oncology setting. - Engage in effective verbal de-escalation techniques; completion of Welle or CPI training required for onboarding. - Participate in EPIC conversion during assignment, ensuring fluency and competence with the system. - Complete a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance. - Adhere to a strict dress code with personal scrubs of any color, ensuring no designs or cartoons and no hoodies. - Ensure all medical and vaccination requirements are met before assignment commencement. - Submit work history, a relevant skills checklist updated within one year, one supervisory signed reference from the past two years, and current license/certifications with the application profile. - Request time off before uploading application; no more than five days off accepted. - Adhere strictly to compliance requirements throughout the assignment.
