Travel Nurse Rn - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,016 Per Week

Certification Details Necessary Certifications: BLS, ACLS. Must hold an active AZ license or compact. Job Details A large hospital in Arizona is looking for RN's with MedSurg/Telemetry/Psych experience for a travel assignment on their Visual Medical unit. The right candidate will have two years of MedSurg/Tele experience and Psych experience. Unit: VMU - Visual Medical Unit. Common diagnosis/Types of patients: Medical unit with secondary psych diagnosis. Confused patients, dementia, low cognitive ability. Job Requirements The right candidate will have two years of MedSurg/Tele experience and Psych experience. LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Candidate is required to pass DYS exam PRIOR to accepting. 2 attempts. Schedule Information Shifts: 12 hr shifts. 7-7. Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend. Holidays: Work in perm staff rotation. Unit Specific Information # beds: 14. Ratios: 1:4 ratios. EMR: Cerner. Charge Nurse: Charge, has patients. Nurse Aides: Behavior health techs, Security watches via video. Scrub Color: Navy, and panic buttons. Tele: Yes. Vents: No. Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Psych MD on unit. IV Team: SWAT RN available. RT 24/7: Yes. Pharmacy 24/7: Yes. Floating: ED psych holds, possibly to MedSurg floors. Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts. Additional Details Rare physical restraints. Chemical restraints. All are video monitored by security on unit. 4 days length of stay. 12 hour days, 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, 2 out of 3 major holidays.
