Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 3 years of NICU experience required, experience in teaching hospitals, level III NICU experience preferred License: Compact License or WA single state license acceptable Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: 3 years of NICU experience in a level III unit Job Description: - Work in a 54-bed level III unit that serves as a regional referral center for high-risk infants. - Care for very low birth weight premature infants requiring ventilatory support. - Participate in a new state-of-the-art unit environment. - Floating within the hospital is required, specifically to the Mother Baby unit to care for babies only. - Weekend work is variable and scheduled as needed. - EPIC charting experience is a plus. - Not open to accommodating block schedules unless stated otherwise. - Candidates will float within the hospital. - Previous staff must be separated for 18 months before returning in this capacity. - Compliance deadlines are 3 business days prior to the contracted start date. - Orientation requires completion of modules, with specific hours for RNs and Allied personnel. - Participation in orientations twice per month for RNs.
