Certification Details Required Certifications: AHA BLS, NRP and WI or Compact RN License required AHA PALS preferred Job Details Registered Nurse, Neonatal Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 12/16 Guaranteed Hours per Week: 36 (no guarantee of blocked scheduling) Milwaukee NICU is a state-of-the-art, Level IV, 76-bed unit with all private rooms, and it's the only one in the state co-located with a birth center. They care for more than 750 infants with various health problems every year. Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates. Job Requirements Must have Level 4 NICU experience Minimum of 2 years NICU experience & PEDS experience preferred Experience with CPAP, Trach, High flow, etc. EPIC REQUIRED Required Education: ADN Schedule Information Shift Requirements: 12 HR nights; 7pm-7:30a Float Requirements: Potential to float to critical care and peds unit. Will float in rotation with other staff. On Call/Call-Back: None Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and every other holiday Unit Specific Information Unit: NICU Additional Details NICU RN - 12 HR Nights Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) MKE NICU Blackout dates: 11/28-12/1, 12/23-12/27, 12/30-1/2 Flu vaccine required. NO EXEMPTIONS Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where the unit is closed and orientation week.
