Travel Nurse Rn - Oncology - $2,071 To $2,271 Per Week In Richmond, Va

Travel Oncology RN is needed for 13 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in Virginia. VA or compact license is required. Shifts are 7-7 Rotating. 36 hours per week are guaranteed. Weekends (3-4 wknd shifts/6 wk schedule). BLS is required. Certifications: ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy provider card highly preferred. Oncology RN needed for Acute Care; Ratio 1:3/4 on days, 1:4 on nights; 28 general care and 6 progressive/stepdown beds. Minimum 2 years recent Oncology experience required. General medicine with some progressive care experience. Oncology and chemotherapy experience preferred. Competency with high acuity population. No first time travelers accepted. Basic Knowledge Assessment Test (BKAT) required. EMR is Cerner Cares for acute leukemia/lymphoma populations, solid tumor cancers and patients with symptom management related to their oncology diagnosis. Multiple blood products given, numerous central lines, chemotherapy infusions, Some palliative care, bone marrow transplant & medicine overflow patients are also admitted to the unit.
