Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Oncology Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/09/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Clinical review and auto offer The Inpatient Oncology unit located on 3 South, is a 28 bed adult acute care hematology/oncology unit as well as a 15-bed intermediate care (IMU) Stem Cell Transplant Unit (SCTU). Joining the Inpatient Oncology team gives new nurses the opportunity to train in both levels of care and gain deep knowledge of the care for the oncology patient. The nurse to patient ratio for 3 South is 1:4, while in SCTU it is 1:3 due to the higher level of care for both day shift and night shift. Nights 11/25, 12/9, 1/6, or 1/20 start Can offer 36 or 48 hours 13 weeks Every other weekend, must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays Can have 40 hours max for time off ONS cert required, please attach cert with submission, can submit with second part of cert pending provided clinician has completed the first part BLS, ACLS preferred not required Must adhere to UVAs float policy Can submit with VA license pending Must have Epic experience Tact Medical Staffing Job ID #496448.
