Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Oncology Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/06/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel MED SURG ONCOLOGY Must be Chemo Certified Candidates that have permanent address less than 50 miles from facility address NY license in hand Chemo cert Nurse patient ratio 1:06 Cancer diagnosis (including some chemotherapy), palliative/end of life care, general med/surg - wound care, IV antibiotics, renal/kidney injury, pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, ortho/general/urology surgeries post operative Common medications: IV antibiotics, IV chemotherapy, IV fluids/electrolytes, PO antihypertensive meds, PO electrolyte replacement, controlled substances - narcotics, benzodiazepines, other assorted medications to treat chronic medical conditions (i.e. inhalers, insulin and other anti-diabetics, etc.) EPIC charting
