RESPONSIBILITIES :   Outpatient Surgery RNs provide treatment for patients during pre- and post-op procedures, under the supervision of a physician or advanced practice nurse. Outpatient Surgery RNs job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:     Monitor patients pre-and post-op, including IV setup, monitoring vital signs, as well as post-op care instructions    Communicate information regarding the patient condition to surgeons, anesthesia, management, and other staff as necessary    Outpatient Surgery RNs carry out physician orders, documenting all activities     BENEFITS OF BEING GIFTED!
