Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Salinas, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/28/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of California, BLS, ACLS and PALS issued through American Heart Association are required.Will need experience in the following procedures: Bariatric, Vascular, Ortho, Neuro, OB/GYN, General, Trauma, Urology, ENT and Ophthalmology. Will not have open hearts. Assist with administration of anesthesia; ensured proper positioning of patient for procedures. Maintain accurate charting throughout patient's surgical experience. Safely transported, moved and positioned patients pre and post operatively. Perform sterile surgical skin preps of specific operative sites. Initiated and maintained continuous counts of sponges and instruments throughout case. Genie Healthcare Job ID #18768.
