Certification Details North Carolina RN License BLS Job Details Mission Hospital, located in Asheville, North Carolina, is Mission Health's flagship hospital, licensed for 815 beds. It is the region's referral center for the only Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit, and Mission Children's Hospital. The hospital serves as the busiest robotic surgery program in the Carolinas and provides the only open heart and interventional cardiology in the region. Job Requirements A current North Carolina RN License and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are mandatory for the role. Schedule Information The unit requires staffing for Day and Night Shifts, with variations in patient ratios and staff configuration across shifts. Weekends and On call responsibilities may be required on an every other weekend basis. Unit Specific Information The J6 Orthopedics unit has a rigorous pace and requires team players with the ability to adapt quickly. Additional Details Number of Beds – 32 individual rooms Number of Staff – 50 Types of equipment include Walkers, Bedside Commode, Bladder Scanners, CPM, Sky lifts, Sara Stedy, Sara Lift, Maxi Move, vital sign machine, hover mat, bair hugger, & Wheelchairs. The unit's EMR system is Cerner.
