Provides care in the ambulatory setting directed toward meeting both the psychosocial and physical needs of the patient. Accountable for the coordination of nursing care for surgical patients, from pediatric to geriatric age groups. Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan and implement nursing care and evaluate patient outcomes. Is compatible and supportive; and a team player. Communicates on behalf of the patient, reflects the mission, ethics and goals of the facility, as well as the focus statement of the department. Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.
