Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)

Position Details
16 WEEKS
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU 4W)
NO LOCAL CANDIDATES
MUST pass Advanced Arrhythmia Exam at Orientation (Study Guide Available in Simplify Library)
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
Must be proficient and reading and verifying rhythm strips
Must be proficient in lab draws
Experience managing titrating insulin and cardiac drips required
Every other weekend and holiday requirement
12-Hr Nights

Unit Specific Details
Intermediate Care Unit
Skill Sets: Some titrating Cardiac drips, continuous bipap, insulin drips, high flow O2
Equipment: Cardiac devices: LIFE vest. Oxygen: continuous bipap, high flow. Alaris pumps, Hercules beds, TF, NGT, Chest Tube, wound vac, epidurals, PCAs
Patient Population: Surgical/Medical mix. Surgeries are thoracic, vascular, small and large bowel, radical necks, osteotomies, etc. Medical: pneumonia, sepsis, overdose, withdrawal, renal, Heart Failure, arrhythmia's
Must be willing to float to lower acuity of needed.

Required QualificationsRequirements to apply to BSMH prior to submission:1 sign the BSMH right to represent form via docusign.2 provide proof of perm address such as drivers license 3 perm address must be over 50 miles away4 current and active compact or state license.5 1 reference on file
