**Job Title:** Cardiac Progressive Care RN

**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 12-hour night shift

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in an 18+ bed telemetry/progressive care unit; Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.

**License:** Active nursing license in NM or compact license

**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. These must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.

**Must-Have:**
- Proof of a current Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) or Dysrhythmia exam; Testing is provided during the first week of the assignment.
- EPIC EMR experience preferred.

**Job Description:**

- Enforce 75-mile straight line radius rule to apply.
- No holiday time-off requests for travelers.
- Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
- Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department needs; on-call, weekends, and holidays are required.
- Travelers must be first to float within the facility and alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location, including the Emergency Department (ED) and alternate holding areas. They must care for patients at freestanding urgent/emergent care facilities.
- Orientation includes EPIC training not exceeding 40 total hours in the first week.
- Personal scrubs are required and not provided by the facility.
- Must not have been employed by the healthcare system for 12 months from the last day worked, to be considered for a travel position.
- Ensure accurate SSN and DOB entries to avoid onboarding issues.
