**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks

**Shift:** 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM start time

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years in an 18+ bed telemetry/progressive care unit with at least one 13-week travel assignment completed

**License:** Active compact license required

**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (All BLS and ACLS certifications must be through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)

**Must-Have:** EPIC EMR experience preferred

**Job Description:**

- Adhere to the 75-mile straight-line radius rule for non-local travelers.
- Handle Progressive Care level patients in the Emergency Department while awaiting inpatient beds.
- Maintain patient ratios similar to typical inpatient units, with flexibility to adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Float to different units within the facility, including alternate locations within a 20-mile radius when required.
- Work collaboratively as a team player, demonstrating flexibility for fulfilling departmental needs.
- Accommodate holiday coverage and potential on-call requirements.
- Participate in a first-week orientation up to 40 hours, including EPIC training.
- Manage three weekend shifts in each four-week scheduling period.
- Wear personal scrubs, as they are required but not provided.
- Avoid holiday vacation time off requests, which will not be approved.
