**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Neuro Telemetry

**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 12-hour day shifts

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum two years of experience in an 18-plus bed telemetry/neuro unit required. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.

**License:** Active compact nursing license required.

**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. Must pass the basic cardiac arrhythmia (BCA) testing during the first week of the assignment.

**Must-Have:**
- Be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
- EPIC experience preferred.
- Ability to float to med/surg, ICU for telemetry patients, and Emergency Department as needed.
- Travelers must not have worked in the specific healthcare system for 12 months prior.

**Job Description:**

- Provide care for neuro telemetry patients.
- Adhere to a straight-line travel radius rule; no local travelers.
- Float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles when required.
- Complete orientation during the first week, not to exceed 40 total hours, including EPIC training.
- Comply with scrub uniform requirements: white scrub top and sangria red, plum purple, hunter green, or black scrub pants.
- Weekend and holiday coverage may be required.
- No holiday requested time off will be approved for travelers.
- Maintain high standards of patient care and professional communication.
