**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in an 18+ bed telemetry/progressive care unit
**License:** Active NM or compact license required
**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (BLS and ACLS must be through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)
**Must-Have:** EPIC EMR experience preferred
**Job Description:**
- Adhere to a 75-mile straight line radius rule for non-local travelers.
- Ensure candidates are aware of their submission to the facility; direct contact with the facility by candidates is not allowed.
- Disclose any requests for time off during the initial submission; time off requested after acceptance will not be approved.
- Include at least two references (one must be from the current manager), a resume, and a completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
- Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
- Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment prior.
- Travelers must pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia/Dysrhythmia Assessment (BCA) exam prior to or during the first week of assignment.
- Dismissal will occur for travelers who do not pass the BCA test.
- Mandatory 12-hour night shifts with three weekend shifts in a four-week scheduling period.
- On-call, weekends, and holiday coverage may be required.
- Travelers are the first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location.
- Orientation in the first week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, including EPIC training.
- For registered nurses, any solid color scrubs must be worn; the scrub top, pants, and jacket (if worn) must match in color.
- A period of 12 months must have passed since last working day to be reconsidered for a travel position if previously employed within the same healthcare system.
- State tax responsibilities are to be handled by your agency.
- Ensure accurate submission of Social Security Number and Date of Birth to prevent any onboarding issues.
