**Job Title:** Progressive Care Registered Nurse (RN)

**Shift:** 12-hour Night Shift, start time 7:00 PM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of current experience in specialty required
**License:** RN License
**Certifications:** BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)
**Must-Have:**
- Two references, one must be from current manager

- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the primary location
- No prior employment with the healthcare system within the past 12 months
- EPIC experience preferred, but not required; on-site training available
**Job Description:**
- Utilize the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift.
- Ensure safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients.
- Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses.
- Coordinate patient care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team.
- Initiate, utilize, and document appropriate protocols and standards of care.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and document according to policy.
- Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the care episode.
- Assume responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel.
- Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards.
- Adhere to the 75-mile straight-line radius rule for consideration and floating requirements.
- Work weekends, holidays, and on-call as required in staff rotation.
- Follow facility's dress code with self-provided scrubs in any solid color, matching top, pant, and jacket (if worn).
**Additional Information:**
- Travelers will be the first to float within the facility and additional locations as needed.
- No holiday time off will be approved for travelers.
- State tax information will be handled as per agency guidelines, and accurate personal information is required for efficient onboarding.
