**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years in an 18 plus bed telemetry/neuro unit

**License:** Active compact license required

**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (BLS and ACLS must be obtained through the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)

**Must-Have:** Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment

**Job Description:**

- Provide care in a neuro tele unit.
- Adhere to a straight line radius rule for travel assignments.
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to unit needs.
- Complete basic cardiac arrhythmia testing during the first week of assignment; non-compliance will result in dismissal.
- Float to different units such as med/surg, ICU for telemetry patients, and ED for admitted inpatients if necessary.
- Be the first to float within the facility and alternate locations within a 20-mile radius from the primary assignment location.
- Undergo orientation including EPIC training in the first week, not exceeding 40 hours in total.
- Wear required scrubs, which consist of a white scrub top and scrub pants in sangria red, plum purple, hunter green, or black.
- Holiday coverage required, with no holiday time-off requests approved for travelers.
- Must have not been an employee of the relevant healthcare system or associated facility for at least 12 months prior to the last working day to qualify for this travel position.
