**Job Title:** Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse
**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 12-hour Nights
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in an 18-plus bed telemetry/neuro unit. Completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment is required.
**License:** Active compact nursing license
**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
**Must-Have:**
- Ability to pass the Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) testing during the first week of assignment.
**Job Description:**
- Work in a neuro telemetry unit as a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse.
- Manage patient care in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.
- Float to medical/surgical, ICU for tele patients boarding in ICU, or emergency department for admitted inpatients holding for a bed or as helping hands as needed.
- Be first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the assigned location.
- Attend first-week orientation not exceeding 40 hours, including EPIC training.
- Ensure proper scrub attire; white scrub top with sangria red, plum purple, hunter green, or black scrub pants.
- Work shifts may fluctuate to meet department staffing needs, and on-call, weekends, and holidays may be required.
- Note: No holiday requests for time off will be approved.
