**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Shift:** 12-hour Day Shifts

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years

**License:** Active Nurse Licensure (Compact license preferred)

**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross preferred)

**Must-Have:**
- Experience in an 18-plus bed telemetry/neuro unit
- Successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
- Ability to pass the Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia testing during the first week
- Team player with flexibility in a fast-paced environment
- Must adhere to dress code: white scrub top with sangria red, plum purple, hunter green, or black scrub pants

**Job Description:**

- Work in the Neuro Telemetry unit, providing specialized care to patients.
- Float to various departments as needed, including med/surg, ICU, ED, etc., within a 20-mile radius.
- Shifts may fluctuate based on departmental needs, with potential on-call, weekend, and holiday rotations.
- Orientation and training in EPIC EMR system provided during the first week.
- Ensure patient safety and deliver care in alignment with established protocols and policies.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues and patients.
- Participate actively in patient care planning and team collaboration.

**Additional Information:**

- Previous employment with the healthcare system should not have been within the past 12 months to qualify for this position.
- No time off during holidays will be approved for travelers.
- Bilingual skills are not required.
