**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Shift:** 12-hour night shifts
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of experience
**License:** Active NM or compact license required
**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (from American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)
**Must-Have:**
- Experience in an 18 plus bed telemetry/neuro unit
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
**Job Description:**
- This position requires flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- The nurse will float to various units such as Med/Surg, ICU for telemetry patients, and ED for admitted inpatients or as helping hands.
- Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs, and on-call, weekends, and holidays may be required.
- Nurses are required to float to alternate locations within a 20-mile radius.
- Provide patient care in compliance with hospital policies and under nurse manager supervision.
- Travelers are expected to pass a Dysrhythmia exam during the first week of the assignment; failure to pass will result in dismissal.
- No holiday requests for time off will be approved for travelers.
- Orientation includes EPIC training during the first week (not exceeding 40 hours total).
- Scrubs required: black or white tops, pants in sangria/wine red, plum purple, hunter green, or black.
- Travelers must not have been employed by the client within the last 12 months.
- State tax is processed through the agency and should be paid accordingly.
- Accurate Social Security Number and Date of Birth must be entered; incorrect entries could lead to onboarding issues.
