**Shift:** Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7 AM or 7 PM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** 2+ years required
**License:** Michigan
**Certifications:** ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)

**Must-Have:**
- Will float between PCU and Med Surg
- Epic experience is highly preferred
- Prior travel experience is preferred

**Job Description:**
- Assess patient health needs, nursing care requirements, and the delivery of comprehensive nursing care for all assigned patients.
- Direct patient assessments conducted by other nursing staff.
- Plan care for assigned patients and oversee the care planning by other nursing staff.
- Implement nursing actions per established nursing practice standards and demonstrate competence across various patient age groups including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans; ensure responsible care is rendered to patients.
- Hold self-accountable for delivering responsible care, and demonstrate effective communication skills and interpersonal relationships.
- Assume responsibility for own continued professional development and assist with the development of other staff members.

**Note:** Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered. Every weekend is required.
