**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** MS/Tele Float **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 3x12 Variable Nights and Days **Guaranteed Hours:** 60 hours per 2 weeks **Experience:** 1 year required (2 years preferred) **License:** Must have AK RN license in hand for Auto Offer **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS (preferred) **Must-Have:** Telemetry, PCU, Cardiac Drips **Job Description:** - Provide nursing care in a MS/Tele float role with flexibility to meet facility needs. - Work variable shifts: three 12-hour shifts per week, alternating between nights and days. - Participate in an orientation of 40 hours. - Be willing to work two out of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. - Be open to floating within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby. - Complete non-billable modules pre-start and annually, with average time spent being 16 hours. - Wear any color scrubs as per facility guidelines. - Use Epic for charting and adhere to the hospital's documentation standards. - Follow the hospital's policy for communication devices necessary for the assignment. - Note that housing options may be limited in the area; travelers should explore housing early. - COVID-19 vaccination required, with medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment, serving in a Magnet and Level II Trauma facility with recognition as a top hospital in the region.
