**Job Description:**

- Be part of a unit with 23 step-down and 16 medical-surgical beds.
- Collaborate with a skilled team including a night shift with 1 charge nurse, 10 RNs, and 4 PCTs.
- Manage patient ratios of 1:3-4 for step-down and 1:4-6 for medical-surgical.
- Utilize equipment such as lifts, chest tubes, cardiac drips, and care for stable ventilated patients and tracheostomies.
- Perform procedures including tracheostomy care, chest tube management, and wound dressing changes.
- Float to other medical-surgical and progressive care units as required.
- Adhere to a navy-blue scrub attire dress code.
- Work six Saturday or Sunday shifts in a six-week period.
- Demonstrate flexibility and clinical excellence to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
