**Must-Have:**
- Stepdown or progressive care experience
- Telemetry experience
- Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications (e.g., nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutrex, insulin drip, heparin, bumex/Lasix)

**Job Description:**
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with conditions such as CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmia, pulmonary hypertension, valvular disease, endocarditis, and DKA
- Care for post-procedure patients, including those with cardiac cath/stent, pacer/ICD, and ablation
- Utilize and manage equipment such as Zoll, Baxter pump, lift equipment, and bladder scanner
- Record and document patient information accurately in Cerner EMR
- Work collaboratively with a team of nurses, PCTs, and unit secretary
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate flexibility and teamwork
- Ensure compassionate care delivery and adherence to unit protocols
- Float across various MedSurg units, Stepdown units, COVID unit, and ER holding as needed
- Adhere to the dress code with scrub color/attire: all white, all navy blue, or white top and navy blue pants
- Work every other weekend

This role is for individuals who are committed to making a positive impact and are able to acquire housing independently. The unit ensures a patient ratio of 1:4, with occasional stretch staffing at a 1:5 ratio. Relief charge experience and familiarity with prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin) are preferred.
