Must-Have:
- Stepdown or progressive care experience
- Telemetry experience
- Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications like nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutrex, insulin drip, heparin, bumex/Lasix, etc.

Job Description:
- Work within a unit specializing in managing patients with CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmia, pulmonary hypertension, valvular disease, endocarditis, DKA, post-cardiac interventions, and more.
- Utilize equipment such as Zoll, Baxter pump, lift equipment, bladder scanner, and navigate EMR systems.
- Assume responsibility for patient care with an average 1:4 staff-to-patient ratio, with the potential for flex staffing to a 1:5 ratio.
- Perform procedures including bedside cardioversion and others typical to PCU.
- Demonstrate flexibility, a positive attitude, teamwork, and compassion in patient care.
- Float to different units such as MedSurg, Stepdown, COVID unit, and ER holding as needed.
- Adhere to the dress code requiring all white or all navy blue scrubs, or a white top with navy blue pants.
- Participate in every other weekend shifts.
- Engage in orientation to discuss unit guidelines and policies.

Note: Candidates must be able to independently acquire housing.
