**Job Description:**

- Manage a unit with 23 step-down and 16 med-surg beds
- Work alongside a team consisting of 1 charge nurse, 11 RNs, and 4 PCTs during day shift; 1 charge nurse, 10 RNs, and 4 PCTs at night
- Handle patient ratios of 1:3-4 for step-down and 1:4-6 for med-surg
- Operate equipment like lifts, chest tubes, cardiac drips, and care for stable vented patients and those with tracheostomies
- Use Cerner EMR system for patient documentation
- Perform procedures, including tracheostomy care, managing chest tubes, and wound dressing changes
- Display flexibility and a high level of clinical competence
- Potential to float to other med-surg and progressive care units as needed
- Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
- Required to work 6 Saturday or Sunday shifts over a 6-week period
